Description
12-year old Cody Webster and his Kirkland, Washington Little League team shut out Taiwan in the 1982 championship game before an estimated crowd of 40,000. Following the win, the players faced extraordinary media attention. Cody, in particular, was the object of unrealistic expectations and name-calling from parents who resented his success. Follows the complex story surrounding their accomplishment and explores what became of the group of childhood teammates. Disc 2 includes the 1982 Little League Championship Game as broadcast on ABC's Wide world of sports.
